For Horizontal Well Acid Stimulation
Acid stimulation with coiled tubing services is the preferred method for improving carbonate reservoirs recovery in horizontal wells.
This operation is a standard solution for Middle Eastern countries and some Russian regions. Traditionally, hydrochloric acid solutions are used.
Uniform well treatment is a key success factor for horizontal wells acid stimulation.
Production logging with markers detects highly productive intervals, the content of formation fluids, and their flow rates.
Marker-reporters are introduced directly into the acid and each interval of acid treatment is marked with the individual code.
Marker diagnostics help to promptly determine well intervals with low productivity.
Based on the diagnostic data, the coiled tubing is repeatedly carried out in the well for additional acid treatment of these intervals. In most cases, this leads to a significant increase in production rate.
In the long term, the markers are placed into the rock by adsorption and are washed out by the fluid after approximately 2 months. This enables creation of the well inflow profile without well intervention.
For Vertical Wells Stimulated with Proppant Hydraulic Fracturing
Conventional vertical well drilling technologies following hydraulic fracturing often does not safeguard a high recovery rate or profitable oil wells production. The main explanation for this is that the hydraulic fracturing design developers’ access is just limited to all the necessary data, including the interlayers height and the optimal fracture length for the field.
For Horizontal Wells Stimulated with Multistage Hydraulic Fracturing
The project begins by collating ideas with our clients to determine the scope and satisfy their needs. The project is finalized with the issuance of a production logging report for each time interval and accumulated oil and water rates. Additionally, the reservoir fluid sample and test analysis can be conducted continually all throughout the year as per client’s request.
For Horizontal Wells without Fracturing
Roughly half of the horizontal wells are drilled without fracturing. As recognized, wellbore filters consisting of pierced pipes and filtering features are used to free the fluid from sand and mechanical impurities.
Our technology allows integration of the special polymer inserts containing quantum marker-reporters into the well filters. Special covers are used to attach the inserts to the filters.
Polymer inserts for each filter are marked with the individual code. The poorly disseminating well areas are promptly determined with the help of the marker diagnostics.
This technology meets the highest standards of results for interpretation accuracy and measurement reliability and performs as well as more expensive foreign analogues. The markers are washed out by the fluid after at least one year, which enables long-term production logging without well intervention.
Well Integrity Solutions
Formation water breakthrough can occur for a variety of reasons, including damage to the insulating elements. This may result in accelerated watering and even well loss. It is not difficult to find fluid leakage in a vertical well, but a specialized well intervention with PLT, followed by a complete replacement of the casing string, is required to determine the cause of integrity loss. However, determining the cause of increasing watercut is, as a rule, much more challenging to pinpoint in horizontal wells.
Our technology helps detect the packer depressurization, both in vertical and horizontal wells without well intervention.
